First Time Waxing?

Don't worry, everyone starts somewhere!

  • Hair should be at least 3 weeks of growth

  • Exfoliate 2–3 times a week leading up to your appointment.


How Should I Prepare?

  • Take a warm shower 1–2 hours before your appointment.

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing.

  • Avoid caffeine & alcohol for 24 hours if possible, as they can increase sensitivity.

  • Stay hydrated! well-hydrated skin makes for a more comfortable wax.


After Your Appointment

  • Book your next wax 4–5 weeks out to stay consistent.

  • Avoid working out, sweating, swimming, saunas, hot tubs, and intercourse for 24–48 hours.

  • After 24–48 hours, begin exfoliating 2–3 times per week.

  • Keep your skin moisturized with Phantom oil or Light weight aloe moisturizer


On Your Period?

Yes, you can absolutely still get waxed!

  • Simply wear a fresh tampon or menstrual cup to your appointment.

  • If possible, schedule your wax about a week after your period, since skin tends to be less sensitive. (but keep in mind, everyone is different)


Pregnant? Congratulations!

You can safely continue waxing during pregnancy.

  • Many clients find that starting early helps them stay on a regular waxing schedule.

  • After a vaginal delivery, wait 6–8 weeks before waxing.

  • After a C-section, wait at least 8 weeks & until you've been cleared by your doctor.
